Preparing for Your Fine Line Tiny Tattoo Appointment

To ensure a seamless, elevated experience at Brows & Beauty Company located in Campbellsville, KY and for the best possible results for your fine line tiny tattoo, please follow these guidelines before your session:

Hydrate & Rest
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment and arrive well-rested. Properly hydrated skin receives ink with ease, and you’ll feel more comfortable throughout the session.

Nourish Yourself
Enjoy a wholesome meal 1–2 hours before your appointment. Keeping your energy steady ensures you feel strong and relaxed during your tattoo.

Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners
Refrain from alcohol for 24 hours prior, and avoid blood-thinning medications like aspirin or ibuprofen if possible. Your safety and optimal results are our top priority.

Arrive Clean & Moisturized
Please shower beforehand and ensure the area to be tattooed is clean. Lightly moisturizing in the days leading up to your appointment is ideal, but avoid lotions or oils on the day of your session.

Protect Your Skin
Avoid sunburns, tanning beds, and self-tanner on the area for at least 1–2 weeks prior. Fresh, healthy skin ensures your design heals beautifully.

Dress for Comfort & Access
Choose loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your tattoo area and won’t rub against fresh ink afterward. Think about where your tattoo will be placed and wearing something you’d be comfortable and feel cute in wearing for after photos.

Limit Caffeine
If you’re prone to jitters, consider reducing caffeine on the day of your appointment to stay calm and relaxed.

Plan a Calm Day
We recommend scheduling your session during a time when you can move slowly afterward. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, or long travel immediately after to give your tattoo the care it deserves.

Questions or Changes
If anything arises—skin irritation, illness, or the need to reschedule—please reach out promptly. Your comfort and safety are our utmost priority.

DAYS 1 – 7:

·      For the first day, blot away the excess lymph fluid that builds up on the surface of your lips. Lymph fluid is produced during the healing process, this fluid causes scabs to form, therefore blotting with a warm damp cloth every hour or as your lips get dry is crucial.

·      Apply the healing ointment every 30 minutes, everyday for 7 days.

 AVOID FOR 1 WEEK:

·      Getting your lips wet outside of the instructed cleansing times. This includes: swimming, baths, saunas, steam, and excess sweating etc.

·      Makeup products, oils, and skincare products on or around your lips.

·      Facials or other skin treatments.

·      Tanning and direct sunlight.
